it's really dangerous to play invisible football....you end up in the E.R. with a hole in your face....

  1. What?? Gross face had me intrigued. Now I’m concerned. What is invisible football? What have the little people done to you? Emotional toil is one thing but when it starts to get physical that is serious!!! My sympathy goes out to you…I’m sure my day will come. How are you doing today Courtney????

    • Apparently the boys weren’t allowed to play real football during recess because someone got hurt so they started playing invisible football, which I gather is just pretending they have a ball and doing the exact same thing (somehow none of the teachers caught on to the scheme until “the incident”). Michael had the invisible ball and another kid tagged him too hard and he was knocked into the fence face first. Good times. 🙂 I’m ok, though it was hard to watch him get the stitches and actually see the injury (not to mention get the phone call from the school). He was a champ though and he’s acting fine today, even though it still looks nasty. We have to go back to our dr. next week and get the stitches taken out so that may be a whole other ordeal! sigh…

      • Oh my! For some reason I thought it was who had to have the stitches! I can absolutely see myself having to have stitches someday because of my boys! I hope everything goes well next week…

      • oh goodness, no, not me this time, though I’m surprised it hasn’t happened that way yet. I wish it had been so he wouldn’t have had to go through it, but he’s so much more resilient than I am these days so I’m just grateful that’s all it was.
